As part of the project, carried out under the supervision of Dr. Kamil Adamczak (Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń), a set of a dozen or so Neolithic vessels from a cemetery of the Linear Pottery culture was reconstructed in 3D. A particularly interesting object turned out to be a richly decorated, painted bowl on an empty leg. Inside, remains of a burnt substance were found, which could have served as incense. The vessel itself had four small holes, allowing it to be hung on ropes. The bowl probably served as a censer and could have had a cult function.
Details of the project can be found in the scientific article about to it.
